Look! There is the rarest bird of all, shimmering in the early morning sun. Take a walk with me through an imaginary wood, sparkling with dew. Rather than oils or waters colors and a paintbrush, I applied small bits of colored wool with a special needle onto a flat canvas of felt. Hours of beading followed, as back in time, I traveled to childhood imaginings. What started as a simple sketch grew into the wool painting you see today.
