After a long hard day of gathering carrots, Bubbles the Hunnybunny soaks in a lovely warm bubblebath with her rubber ducky. She is only 2.5 inches tall, and made of wool in a special process called needle felting. In needle felting, the artist tangles the wool fibers with a special barbed needle. She pierces the wool over and over until she sculpts just the shapes she wants. Because Bubbles’ tiny arms, legs, and head are tied on with string like an old-fashioned teddy bear, she can be posed in a sitting or standing position.
These tiny felted treasures are recommended for older children and adult collectors. Keep your felted artwork out of direct sunlight; should it be necessary, brush off any dust or lint with a tiny artists’ paintbrush.
