Windwalker Taibi & Mary Jo Oxrieder on the Oregon Coast
Owners and Resident Artists, Mary Jo Oxrieder & Windwalker Taibi
Mary Jo and Windwalker met in 2002 and discovered immediately that they were soul mates. The following year, they moved from Seattle to Whidbey Island and continued to build their love relationship, as well as making new friends and creating art. They found that they loved working together and committed to pursuing their creative passions and so Raven Rocks Studio was born. Opening a gallery space became the next logical step, as their creative endeavors were prolific.
Now, after 11.5 years at Greenbank Farm and much discussion and research, Windwalker and Mary Jo jumped into a Grand Adventure 2020 and moved to the Oregon Coast. We found a sweet home in our favorite place, Depoe Bay. With excellent timing, a lovely gallery space became available between their first and second covid vaccines. Located five minutes from our home, on Coastal Highway 101, across from the Whale Fountain in Depoe Bay. You won't believe the view from our gallery windows - wow...
