Owners and Resident Artists, Mary Jo Oxrieder & Windwalker Taibi A bit of our later-in-life history: We met in 2002 and discovered immediately that we were soul mates. The following year, we moved from Seattle to Whidbey Island and continued to build our love relationship, made new friends, married and threw themselves into making art outside our day jobs. We found we loved working together and after several successful art shows of our work as Raven Rocks Studio, committed to pursuing our creative passions full time. Opening Raven Rocks Gallery became the next logical step, as our creative endeavors were prolific. After twenty three years on Whidbey Island, we jumped into a Grand Adventure at the start of 2020 and moved to the Oregon Coast. We found a sweet home in our favorite place there, Depoe Bay, moved and set up home while covid was running rampant. With excellent timing, a lovely gallery space became available in 2021, five minutes from our home, on Coastal Highway 101, across from the Whale Fountain in Depoe Bay. You won't believe the view from our gallery windows! We'd love to have you visit and see for yourself.
