Art has been part of my life from childhood. I have found that the creative process balances the stresses of this world. I have continued to use art to reflect the wonder of the world around us. I have been sculpting since college in various mediums. When I begin a piece, I often do not know what the end result will be. The beauty of the natural world inspires much of the focus of the sculptures. I find sculpting to be a meditative experience that allows me to immerse myself totally in my work, while creating something that others may enjoy.
