A morning-glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books. —Walt Whitman.
The Morning Glory vessel is made by Nuno-felting, the process by which silk fabric and wool become one by the application of water, soap, and agitation (Contains wool, silk chiffon, viscose, and glass seed beads).
Wool does not attract dust the way other surfaces do: periodically gently “thwack” your vessel against your knee to shake off any dust that may accumulate. Spot clean if necessary; if the whole piece should become soiled, immerse in cool water with a little mild soap, soak 15 minutes, rinse in cool water, spin on low in the washer (no agitation or wringing), reshape, then air dry.
