Story: Once upon a time I lived in a very small apartment in a very big building. When I played music, even softly, I was afraid I would disturb my neighbors. I longed for space and time to let my heart fling itself to the Universe through my own music. That was long ago. Now I live in a lovely home and play my grand piano for hours on end, the notes streaming in the wind, out across the waters, swirling through the trees. My granddaughter joins me and I smile at her free and singing heart, her fingers skimming across the keys.
